Landing Page
A landing page is like a friendly, super-focused salesperson on your website. It's a single web page that greets someone right after they click an ad, email link, social media post, or Google search result — that's why it's called a "landing" page: visitors literally "land" there.Unlike your main homepage (which shows everything your business does and has menus to explore other pages), a good landing page has one clear job only: get the visitor to do one specific thing, such as:Sign up for your newsletter
Download a free guide or ebook

Buy a product right now
Register for a webinar/event
Everything on the page works together to gently guide people toward that one action — no distractions, no side menus, no links that take them away. What a typical (and user-friendly) landing page looks likeIt usually follows a simple, easy-to-read flow that feels natural as you scroll:Big welcoming headline (right at the top — "above the fold", meaning you see it without scrolling)
Short and punchy. It tells visitors exactly what they'll get and why it matters.
Example: "Get Your Free 30-Day Meal Plan That Actually Tastes Good"
A short explanation (subheadline or paragraph)
Adds a bit more detail and answers "What's in it for me?"
Eye-catching image or short video
Shows the product, happy people using it, or the result they’ll achieve. Makes it feel real and exciting.
Clear button to click (the call-to-action or "CTA")
Bright color that stands out, with friendly words like: "Claim Your Free Guide Now"
"Start Free Trial"
"Yes, Send Me the Discount!"
Proof that it's trustworthy (further down) Real customer quotes ("This changed my mornings!") with photos/names
Star ratings or "4.9/5 from 2,000+ people"
Logos of companies you've worked with or "As seen on…"
Simple form (if it's for collecting info like email)
Usually just name + email — nothing scary or long.
Extra reassurance at the bottom
"No credit card required", "Cancel anytime", or answers to common worries (like a mini FAQ).
The whole page feels clean, fast-loading (especially on phones), with plenty of white space so it doesn't look crowded or overwhelming.
